Welcome to “Praying the Rosary, Images from the Holy Land.” This is the first in a series of videos we plan to produce for each mystery of the rosary. Each video will incorporate pictures and images from the holy sites that pertain to the mystery being contemplated. We’ve started with the Sorrowful Mysteries and will be creating a video for the other ones in the coming months to include the Joyful, Luminous, and Glorious mysteries.
Each video will incorporate the voice of one praying the Rosary while images from the Holy Land move across the screen. The viewer will see the places where the mystery actually happened, thus enabling the viewer to enter more deeply into contemplation of Jesus’ life.
Our hope is that the videos will help you better meditate on each mystery by taking you on a spiritual journey to the Holy Land. By seeing the places related to each mystery, one can better contemplate the life of Christ through the eyes of Mary, which of course is the reason for praying the rosary.
