Every year, on the 50th day after Easter, Orthodox Christians all over the world celebrate Pentecost (Pentecost Sunday) to commemorate the day on which the Holy Spirit had descended upon the disciples of Jesus Christ, right here in Jerusalem.
In the Eastern Orthodox Church, Pentecost is one of the Orthodox Great Feasts. Pentecost is considered to be the highest ranking Great Feast of the Lord, second in rank only to Easter/Resurrection Sunday/Passover.
In Jerusalem, the Orthodox celebrates Pentecost at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The ceremony started at the Greek Orthodox Catholicon which is the largest temple within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. From there, the celebration moved to the front of the Holy Sepulchre of Christ. You will see the priests praying inside the Angel Chapel right next to the room where the Sepulchre itself. The Ceremony is led by the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, Patriarch Theophilos III. You will see priests praying in Greek, Arabic, Russian and other languages.
Pentecsot Orthodox 2012 – The Video

Thanks, Eran.
You made me feel like I was there participating in that beautiful ceremony although I am almost half way around the world.
